Rev. Michael J. Ford, B.A., M.Div., M.A.
Michael is blessed with the opportunity to serve the church that he called home for his formative church years. He was a part of the DBC family from 1980-1990. After five years in Fort McMurray, Alberta and another five years in Edmonton, Michael made his return to Ontario. Michael holds a B.A. in Religious Studies with a Minor in Parish Services from Concordia University College of Alberta. He also holds an M.Div. from McMaster Divinity College and an M.A. in Religion and Culture from Wilfrid Laurier University.
He is currently a doctoral student at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester New York, focusing on transformative leadership with a concentration in prophetic preaching. In addition to his pastoral duties at Dundas Baptist, he is also a field education supervisor for McMaster Divinity College, an ordination supervisor for the CBOQ, and writes frequently for both CBOQ and CBM.
Michael is passionate about preaching and worship. He wants to see people moved to commit their lives to Christ, and to serve the church and the world. He is motivated to serve faithfully and gently, journeying with people on their walk with Christ.
Michael is father to Holden. In his spare time he likes to read and plays hockey whenever he gets the chance.
