Sam is born and raised in Norwich, England. He moved to Dundas, Canada to be with his fiance, Mariah. They are getting married on 21st July 2012.
Sam has completed a BA hons degree, from Oasis College, in Youth Work and Ministry. As part of his course he was a youth worker at a Church in West London.
He was personal assistant to, evangelist and writer, Gerald Coates and led the worship team during his time in the role.
Sam is passionate about bringing people into the presence of God, sharing the loving image of God and emphasising the need and value of Church.
In his spare time Sam likes to listen to music, play sports and read. He also plays music under the name 'Sam Loaker' and has released 3 CD's.
